Transcription: The Glen Rose Trackway is actually a six and a half ton chunk of rock. One hundred and seven million years ago it was soft mud, in which two groups of dinosaurs left their footprints. Preserved by silt and the sediments near the ocean's margin, these tracks are in some ways more revealing than bone fossils. They show how the dinosaur which left them stood and allow us to estimate how fast they moved. Watch the historic footage to get an idea of the immensity of the excavation process. The smaller three-toed prints were made by a theropod, a meat-eating dinosaur that walked on its two hind feet ...
